Update...Sam's been promoted to Cadet Cpl!
He's still gettin after me about getting people to write to him so here's his address again.

He has to stay at the shool until graduation on December 6 (with the acception of getting to come home for Thanksgiving.)
Everyone feel free to look this school up on line to see what it is about, he's really working hard to accomplish finishing. This is the first time he's been away from the family EVER and he'd like nothing more than to quit and come home, but he knows this is in his best interest.

We are in Battle Creek to see Sam today and he looks GREAT. He has lost 44 pounds and has been promoted to pvt and been voted squad leader. His grades are A's, B's, and a C. He will try out for the Silent Drill Team and the Meet Heads (weight team) as soon as he can. He is very excited about this program and can't wait for the VoTech classes to begin next week. They get up for PT 0530 then shower and breakfast before school starts at 0800 and lasts till 1600. Before they hit the racks at 2130 they have more PT, dinner, letter writting, and shower. Once the VoTech starts that will fit in the schedule between 1600 and 2130.
