4th of July of 2005...I was staitoned at the border of New Mexico and Texas...Working a fire prevention detail...Texans cross the border to purchase and set of their fire works...You work a crowd of people and fireworks stands...All the fireworks stands had to be inspected and monitored...Through out the whole day you stay busy putting out brush fires and dumpster fires...What was more memorable was at midnight the whole place went off...Fire works of all types went off...I was in a sea of fireworks...From the ground up...Fireworks of every type were going off...Also had to respond to citizens that received fireworks injuries...All in all it was a good event....
