  Hi, I was gone for a period of time but I'm back with some big changes since I was here last. First change was the purchase of two Pierce Velocity pumpers, second change was the retirement of our commissioner and the hire of a new one, third, we changed our name from the Twp of Spring Vol Fire Dept to Twp of Spring Fire Rescue Service, fourth (and the hits keep coming) the lease of two officers vehicles. All the changes were welcomed by most of the membership and we are looking for a brighter future ahead. Check us out at www.tsvfd.com

  Thank You. I've posted a little update at headseats group and some new pictures on my profile. Been very busy round here lately. LOL had another big wild land fire (actually two or three in the same time frame, one on base and one that crossed county lines and at the very least a rummor of a third threatining to cross into our area but we were too busy to keep close track of the happenings with that until it became our problem.)

  Hello, How have you been?

  I've recently (last week) completed my MFR/EMR class and waiting for NREMT so I'm "Officially" going from supportive spouse to active member in EMS. I'm so excited!

  I joined the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) last November and in our rural area they have certified me to perform Traffic Control, change out FF airpacks and refill them, perform Advanced Field Operations and Urban Search and Rescue, and Wild Land search and REscue, set up LZ's, refil oxygen tanks, Pipeline Emergencies response and dAmmage Prevention. I've missed our cribbing class, but will be caught up to speed ASAP. Not sure what our next class is on the 6th, but May 13 we're being trained as Weather Spotters.

  Sorry I just can hardly stand the wait or contain my excitement and wanted to share part of why I've not been here lately.

  Lisa was a great person and a great friend, she will be forever missed. I was shocked as well as you, but I remember that she would complain about being off kilter alittle and being depressed.
