    Will some one please tell me why we are still getting beat up because some ONE does not like what the rest ofus do. Di you all see the story about the fire station in SC had to take down the Nativity seen because some one in Wisconsin didn't like it. Ok ALL fire fighter do you dare pray befour you go into a fire or after even if the place collacses on you, but you still get out. LOL

    Firefighting History is under groups. Given the looks and the size of the dicharges I would agree that it probably is from that time period or maybe a little older.

    I just recived a email from friends about the Phoenix AZ. fire department making a 6year ols dieing from leukema a honerray firefighter. Story made my eye all wet, wondering if anyone out there can find out if it was a true story.

    This am went out with firefighters to help teach fire extinguisher use and general fire safety to about 80 employee in a small company. Then in the afternoon when to a grade school to teach 4 th greades about fire safety. I enjoy doing that sort of thing, I am a beliver in that every one should know how to save them selfs.

    The Catalina MTs are the ones directly to the north of Tucson. Now called the Foothils and there are Hotels and homes built into the side of the Mountains. Its crazy

    Matt I don't remember those road you wrote about I do remember a bar not too far from base called the Ore House, My wife would never let me go there just to see what it was.:) We liked to go up to the saguaro national forest just a bit before sun set. real pretty place. Hope they did not build homes out there.

    Glennon, I was pretty much raised in New England. Moved here in the mid 80's and have stayed put. Funny about the Bone Yard, I know it well and its still going strong today. One of my best friends works out there removing parts for aircraft still in service. The population has grown, but I don't really know exactly how much. Saharita is encroaching on Tucsons southside with another casino in between. Housing and hotels have gone all the way up and past Tangerine rd to the north. Oro Valley is huge!
