We are in Battle Creek to see Sam today and he looks GREAT. He has lost 44 pounds and has been promoted to pvt and been voted squad leader. His grades are A's, B's, and a C. He will try out for the Silent Drill Team and the Meet Heads (weight team) as soon as he can. He is very excited about this program and can't wait for the VoTech classes to begin next week. They get up for PT 0530 then shower and breakfast before school starts at 0800 and lasts till 1600. Before they hit the racks at 2130 they have more PT, dinner, letter writting, and shower. Once the VoTech starts that will fit in the schedule between 1600 and 2130.

Hey Andy! Will you be over here for the Firemans memorial this year? Hope to see you soon we miss you.
Don't know if you heard bout Steve having a roof come down on him in a fire last month, bout broke his neck. He's still feelin the affects. He finally got his Sgt promotion and is helpin Irvin run the fire barn this year.
Busy busy I got a new job and Sam is away for school till December.
