Hi, I was gone for a period of time but I'm back with some big changes since I was here last. First change was the purchase of two Pierce Velocity pumpers, second change was the retirement of our commissioner and the hire of a new one, third, we changed our name from the Twp of Spring Vol Fire Dept to Twp of Spring Fire Rescue Service, fourth (and the hits keep coming) the lease of two officers vehicles. All the changes were welcomed by most of the membership and we are looking for a brighter future ahead. Check us out at www.tsvfd.com

Congradulation on the NREMT B. That was an extreme test to pass. Me and my lil son did that last year. He is also starting Paramedic class next month at LSU in Baton Rouge Louisiana. It was good to hear from you. Hope the Holidays was great for you.

Crash firefighter duty at the local mud and sand drag races for two days this weekend. Alcohol fuel,NOS,and thousand HP blower cars made it exciting. No fires and minor injuries made for good watching . Some awesome wrecks though.Oh, parade on Saturday was kinda fun too. My daughter rode on the top of the engine with me and tossed candy to the kids!
