    Hey, thanks for accepting my friend invite. I really appreciated your article, most people say the traditional "I wanted to be a Fire Fighter so that I can save lives", but being a family person myself with a passion for the medical field, I really agree with your decision to be closer to home.
    I went through Fire Academy just for the cert, so that I could work for a dual cert department. It wasn't until I went through the academy that I gained a good love for fire fighting as well as being on the ambulance.
