  That is just awesome. I first learned to sign because of a skater, & none of the other coaches would work with her... I took sign, I actually had her for 6 years. To practise I taped a small walkman to her that played her music & we went through the routine together-she had to count all the steps between everything etc. It was one of the most challenging things I have ever done. The little girl girl won many competitions, & went through lots of testing & passed. I was with her at every competition. She would have a special place to stand, so she could see me. I would sign 1, 2, 3, & nod my head-that's how she knew when to start. Most of the time the judges didn't even know she was deaf. MOST REWARDING for me. As far as the final LMAO..... you bet my mid term was "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" My final was "Pretty Woman" LOL 4.0 GPA As far as the fire you attented & Chief handed you a note..... Well all I can say is always remember the alphabet, at least you can spell the word if you forget the sign to it !!!!! I believe at least 1 fireperson or EMT on any crew should have a little knowledge of this.... No you don't use it often, but if you need it.... Then you have it. HAVE A GR8T NIGHT TTYL ^..^ ^..^ :)))
