About Me: Well I have been in the Navy for the last 9 3/4 years as a damage control man(ship board fire fighter). Been to many different places around the world. Some good and some bad. Moved back to upstate New York after getting out of the navy and worked for a commercial ambulance company. Pursued getting in to the City of Utica NY fire academy for 14 weeks and graduated in June. The instructors there are really top notch. Toward the end of my academy I got offered a job with Navy Region Mid Atlantic fire and emergency services. Took the job. A little slow but not bad. So that is why I am living in Virginia Beach VA right now. But still looking for a city dept or a busier dept. I do have a 4 year old little boy who I love dearly. I see me so much of me in him. He is living in NY with his mother. But it is all good. I get home as much as I can. But I do love fire fighting with a passion. Always wanted to be a fireman since I could remember. My little boy thinks that way to. I have been part of many different volunteer fire departments over the years(Grand Bay AL, Remsen NY,Lake Delta NY,). I will never forget the things that I have learned and experienced from all of those knowledgeable men and women. So that is me in a nut shell.
