Thats the way my son is too, he just turned 4. I will take him down to the station and if some of the other guys are down there he starts telling them how things are going to work. He'll put my pants, coat, hat and gloves on and atempt to pull the hose off the truck. I get a kick out of it!!!!

Thats awsome for your dad, that is a pretty big accomplishment that i'm sure he worked very hard for. I am guessing that is your son? in the pictures with you. Do you think he will keep up the family tradition of being a firefighter?

We actually have a fair share of women on department in our area but I understand where your coming from. With out people such as yourself to support us the job would be a lot harder. Is your family on a vol. or paid department?

Hey I am in New Orleans working Rescue and Recovery and I am loving this area! It is truly a great place to be! Had to spend a few days in Baton Rouge with out any power and felt sorry for all those who lost it for so long!! Take Care!!!
