About Me: Thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Craig Bein II. I'm a volunteer fire fighter in the small town of Sterling Ct. ( 3900 population, 29sq miles, 2 fire companys, 8 firetrucks). We have a great buch of guys too. I personally started out in the fire service way before i joined as a member, its more of a family tradition. On both sides of my family my grandfathers were Chiefs in two separate volunteer departments. My dad a cheif when i was born, and now a Asst Cheif today, My mom a Firefighter EMT. So i guess it wasn't really a big shocker when i decided i wanted in on the experience. I started officially 4 years ago as a junior member, and 2 years ago become a full active member. Within the past year i have dedicated myself to starting a profesional career in the Fire/EMS services. I presently hold many certifications from Nationally Registered EMT-B to Fire Fighter II, CT CPAT, HAZ OPPS/AWAR, ICS/NIMS..... list goes on. I am also a member of a surrounding towns ambulance corp in the neighboring town of Moosup hoening the EMT skills. Also a member ot the CT WILDFIRE CREW as of 2009 (also a 3rd Gen thing). <We didnt go out on a fire this year:( but theres always next year right. Thats all been what i have been doing for the last year and maintaing the highest call attendance volume in our company,(which was just a little personal goal for 09). But when im not training or going to classes i work full time as a mechanic that works on Fire Trucks an Ambulances, Race motocross, Go to the gym, lol and read up on the fire service today. So in a nutshell Fire runs in the veins and i love it cant wait to do it for the rest of my life. CBII

Drill was ok but we needed more man power onyl three from sterling Brian me and your dad. None of the surrounding towns that were invited showed up. Me and your dad were the second team in 24 victims. we used the smart tag system. After victims were coded we were switched to rescue and recovery. Glad to hear that you are having fun dont worry we are here holding down the fort while you are playing. Miss you and looking forward to having you back
