I cant believe your fire chief doesnt like that your there. It is a tough world but if its something that you love to do, go for it! Atleast most of the guys that work with you dont mind it. It would be really hard if they didnt appreciate you pulling your weight and everything. It is very worth it to go to an hour away.

That sounds awesome! I cant wait to actually be allowed to do things like that. Are you the only female at your station? I cant go to the stations around me right now which makes it pretty hard and I cant really get to know any of them. They will barely talk to you until your 18 so I go to a station thats like an hour away from my hometown. Even though Im only a rider there is only one other girl there with me.

Awe that sounds so amazing! I cant wait to get involved. Since you dont really go into the fires what do you do? Are you an EMT too? I have to wait until July to start and I cant wait. To ride along I have to go to a firestation thats an hour away but its worth it. Im close with my Captain and the guys on his crew are really nice. :)

Things are great around here just completed my SARTECH 3 Qualification and am working on my SARTECH 2 and I had an Interview yesterday with the Fire Cheif, Asst Cheif ,Batt. Cheif With Russellville City Fire Dept that went really well so hopefully I get a call telling me I'm Hired!
