    I think you have to get a degree in fire science from a community college if you want to get hired by any decent sized department. Otherwise, you might get on a volunteer crew, and learn a few things, but IO don't think taht takes you anywhere.

    Hey what's up everybody,

    Even though I've been a member for almost a year, I'm still fairly new to this whole thing. Anyone have any pointers for me in becoming a firefighter? I've looked everywhere I can think of and I'm sure I missed something. I have no current training so i'm starting from the bottom.. Let me know... Thanks again.
