Thats pretty cool, im just volunteer but im thinking about maybe going to the fdny but the next test isnt untill 2011 so it gives me some time

I get qeezy when i see blood so i stayed at the first responder level and have moved into fire investigations now. after 15 yrs of nozzle time i thought it was time to let the "kids" do the hard work haha

at the fire station during IV training, the Paramedic put it in the chiefs arm and showed what happens when you do it wrong, blood spurted up and I went down, then 5 others went weak knee and had to be sat down, when i came, to they were all laughing. Then the asst. chief jumped me about ruining the class, i told him no tones, no adrenalin to keep me going. sorry. (haha)

haha yeah thanks man im gonna need it. I only have a little over a month of the class left then National Registry comes soaring over my head like one of them little damn rain clouds lol

yeah lol. The EMT class is hard man and they say its just as hard if not harder for some people than the paramedic class because most of the words are like a foreign language to people when they first start taking the class and it has definately been true for me lol its been tough

things in school are goin pretty good and since I only got assigned one chapter over the weekend I have some downtime haha. So far i have a B in my EMT class that im gonna try to get up a little bit lol.
Im tryin to figure out where I wanna do my clinical at man. Not sure if I wanna do it on a department I want to possibly get onto in the future, or a department I dont want to just in case I dont do well.
other than that, how've things been goin for you?
