What a small world, knowing just a few years ago you were here helping us out and now we finally meet on firelink. I am in livingston Parish. We are right in the middle of all the southern parishes so the command centers are usually here. In fact for Gustav the command center was set up in the livingston Parish fair grounds. My son and I was out there for weeks after we got the tree out of our house and carport. For Katrina we didnt see our house for 21 days. We stayed at the fire dept and command center to do everything we could to help out. We even put strangers up in our house while we volunteered every minute we could. If ever you get back this way we will have to meet.

I also have family in Lafourche, Terrabonne, & Orleans & Jefferson Parish.They all stayed in there homes for all 3 Hurricans. Call us crazy. LOL

Livingston Parish, we are about 15 miles from Baton Rouge and about 40 miles from Down town New Orleans. We are with Dist. 4, James Wasom is our Chief.
