apparently they are. before my friend died he was in the marines and would tell us about the games his unit used to play with them. they would catch them, attach numbers on them and then throw them in a cage and make bets as to which one would win.

I hear that. I wanted something that was going to represent me (the carebear cause that's my nickname) and the fire is what i'll always be part of. the green helmet actually represents my husband which was a surprise to him. it's a subtle way of having him a part of me (and he actually like it too)

I got to have my husband take a picture of the one of the back of my neck. It's a carebear holding a fire helmet with flames in the backround and a fire hydrant spewing water.
