no kidding! I am surprised as well, I am actually visiting the site today, the street that its on is Vessy street, weird huh? lol I will get a pic under it and I will put it up on my page and you can see it lol

i got the rest of the story, supposedly the panfish were just too many and they were eatin all the zooplaknton, fillin up the lake with weeds and what not, and makin life bad for the gamefish, and takin all thier food away, they wanted to hold the sportfish in ponds until spring 2009 and then restock but couldnt because of the vhs virus i guess. they arent gonna restock the walleye either when they restock in spring :( Still a waste if you ask me. im still workin on the pics, my computer and digital camera are apparently arguing this week lol

yeah, this lake is over an hour from us here, used to be well worth the ride, some people moaned about bad fishing but you and i both know thats just because they cant catch them lol. Supposedly the panfish were stunted, they just werent growing big enough, well forgive me, but after seeing all the trophy walleye and the big largemouth, and pike, even saw a couple smallies...they are unheard of in that lake. They were worried about transferring the big fish to another lake because of some vhs virus that is killing off some fish in other waters, such a waste. I am gonna put some pics up, ill let ya know when i get them on. Some people are talking about the lake coming back in 2 or so years, seeing the size of some of the fish, i doubt it.

you will appreciate this, they killed off a lake in wi. that i have been fishin for at least the last ten years or so, me and my brother loved it, all cuz of "stunted panfish" we took a drive to see it...disgusting!!!!! trophie walleye, decent pike, big largemouth, and a few smallies.... all dead, floating or washed up on shore, and im talking BIG numbers of fish, i had to watch where i walked to make sure it was rocks i was stepping on and not fish, it was that bad. I am sure the trophy walleye did not mind the size of the "stunted panfish" i do believe they didnt take too kindly to the helo dropping rotenone into thier water. turns my stomach! i got pics and a vid, let me know if ya want a look, fair warning... its bad
