Anytime, and I mean that. I was an EMT-CC but let it go and now I am a Basic with 16 years in EMS, and I am a Firefighter II with 20 years in the FD so ask me anything you want and I will try and help you out or find you the answer.

I know the feeling, just be glad it won't somethin you did to cause it. I was backin in one of our trucks the other night and forgot that one of it's compartment doors was open and I bent it back. One of the guys knew how to fix it while I didn't have a clue and I felt helpless cause he was one of those types of people that like to work alone and it really made me feel bad. The only thing I can tell you to do if you really feel like you need to do somethin is if you know the family that owned the building then you should try to extend some type of courtesy to help em out. If nothin else, at least pray about it bud, thats the absolute best thing anyone can do. Also, I don't mean to put ya down or anything but you did the right thing by not tryin to help the firefighters do some of their tasks. A lot of times we fully appreciate the help and at other times we really need it, but when you look at it the other way, you run the risk of compromising the safety of others. It'll be alright man, you'll get it next time.

Pretty good. I ate to damn much on thanksgiving and now eating too much of the leftovers. mainly pie and stuff. Now I have to get out and run it off. LOL

They may ask you to shave it for wearing of a mask at first. To make it properly fit. In the Navy, they always had us clean shaven for that reason. That is the only reason I can think of right off hand. I'll check around and get back to you on that one.
