yeah i hope so too it just takes time im actually goin to try to get with the brooklyn fire dept which is in the city next to me well its only 5 mins away i live on the border and i checked out the website pics of the station and i was like damn thats what the new place looks like hahah well bro hope all goes well for you and hope you pass the testing GOOD LUCK

Yeah, he should give you information about it actually. We went and signed up for NREMT online as a class, so he should just tell you all about it. Good luck!

Ok so, you finish the class, then (in Ohio's case) you will go to sit for your National Registry. Once you pass that, you are able to work anywhere in the country as long as your card stays current. Also, when you pass it, they will send your results to the State boards to show how you did and you will receive your state card as well (you don't have to take another test for it). It's pretty nice actually that they made it like that, so you don't have to take 2 major exams. So if you plan on moving south, you definitely should take the NREMT so it transfers down!
