how is your weekend going?
Mine is going pretty good so far. I got to pin Steve with his SGT stripes Saturday morning and make it "Official" even though he has been a SGT since the 30 of March. He has only been working on this promotion since about 2002. LOL Other than that I am supposed to be cleaning my house and then going BACK down state to spend the night with our middle daughter whose turning 22 today.
Hope your having a great day, be safe.

Hi Chris, pleasure to meet you. I have a lot of faith in Ron Moore for vehicle rescue. I have worked with him during a training evolution some years ago on Bus Rescue. He also sent a video for a basic vehicle stabilization drill I put our Juniors through when I was their sponsor. Here is a link I happened upon a while back, showing a group of Professional Volunteers with the Wayne Township Department, going through Ron Moore's University of Extrication class http://www.waynefas.org/photo/RonMooreDay1/index.htm
As you will see while browsing the pictures, there is a lot of information and techniques involved in Vehicle-X but you also see, after the course, there is light hearted fun "shows there was teamwork and satisfaction of a job well done by all".
I've been with the department here over 28 years, cut, spread and pushed a lot of sheet metal and I still manage to learn something new on each run with my Brothers. Keep an open mind and take advantage of all course you have time for and extra cut pit drills.
Search google for Ron Moore and or Ron Moore University of Extrication, do the web search then google images. Also, do a random google search for vehicle rescue.
There are a lot of brothers and sisters o this site, myself included that have an open door policy for members as yourself that have the drive to learn.
Keep in touch,
John
