About Me
My name is Mike and I live in rural Louisiana about half an hour from Lake Charles. I’m the Fire Chief for our small rural volunteer department, and have been a volunteer since I was 17 years old and certed after I was 18. I never went on to become a paid firefighter, but left for the Army shortly after I got my certifications. Now in my thirties I have settled down and now have three beautiful children with a loving wife. My wife is a nurse and other than my work as Chief I work in communications and electronics as my paying profession.
