    The older I get the quicker time flies. I'll just track you down next time I'm helping out with a craft market in Halls Gap. Haven't been to visit the in laws since the Gift! I can't believe how fast a year can fly!

    I'm not in the Hills anymore :( We moved just after we got back from our honeymoon in August last year. We're in Berwick/Beaconsfield area now so a bit more suburbia than I like! It's sorta just on the edge of the Dandenong Ranges, heading towards Gippsland. It's nice to have my mum in the next neighourhood though :P (things I never thought I'd say #1).

    I haven't been active with CFA in a year! Mostly because it's all structure around here. Himself and I are planning surprises though (things I thought I'd never say #2) so I fig I'll get stuck into it after that's all been done and dusted. I'm not structure qualified as yet, it's always kinda put me off a little, as has road rescue (higher frequency of tragedes lol). But, I suppose living in the 'burbs just off the Freeway doesn't leave me much choice!

    Hope all is well down in the Gap! Are all the trails and roads open yet after the floods?

    (Soz for the essay lol, but it has been a year!)

    Hey you! I'm not too sure if you're using firelink anymore. I read a post of yours on cfaconnect about a year ago... very well written!

    I've been in Stawell a fair bit lately shuttling my uncle-in-law to and from the city for medical issues. My grandfather also came to Australia for the first time ever for my wedding, so I took him out to Hall's Gap last week before he left. Couldn't get passed Bellfield, the Elephants Hide is virtually gone and half the bloody road just past the cultural center is washed away!

    My aunt is meant to be selling her jewelry at the market this weekend during the Jazz festival, but last she heard they've not yet decided whether it will even be going ahead.

    Tough times in Halls Gap, my favourite place in the world. I hope you are all holding up well. <3
