That's no good. We've been just the opposite....been relatively slow. However, with the weather conditions like they are, the heavy fuel load, and no rain in sight - it's just a matter of time for us to start the wildfire. We are one of the few counties in TX not in a burn ban - and we should be. Where is Benton located?

hey sweety, weekend was slow but I did pick up a shift at Ligonier fire sunday (24 hr) so that will help in 2 weeks when the paychecks come out. I told the chief if he could get me 2 shifts a month i could afford to turn on the furnace. (lol) what did you guys do? I is 19 degrees right now going down to 6 tonight. can't wait for summer !!
