About Me
Hi....my name is Lisa, I live in Ontario CANADA with my hubby Carl. Im here because I just have a lot of love and respect for all firefighters, everywhere. There are too many things that I admire about you guys to list. I cannot comprehend how you can just risk your lives for complete strangers, over and over again, everyday that you work. Seriously....I dont get that. I think firefighters are our ANGELS ON EARTH. My love for firefighters goes back a long way. My childhood best friend's dad was the fire chief. He left a huge impression on me that I still carry today! I have seen quite a few fires during my childhood that I will always remember -like my neighbour's house burning down and even a couple of my family members had fires. I've also seen car fires and a barn burn down which was absolutely terrifying to me, mostly because my dad ran into the barn to help the firefighters save the animals!! We lived in the country so whenever a firetruck went by, it was a BIG deal!! My Dad would always hop in his truck and follow the fire trucks to all of the action. And 95% of the time, I was with him. So...it's really all my Dad's fault that I love firefighters so much......Thanks Dad!!!!
