Oh yeah we have thawed out. I've lived here all my life and have grown use to it. It's no big challenge.It beats 125 degree weather and 75 pounds of gear.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Right now gotta figure out how to go about it. Got a 10 year old at home i'm raising alone, then I work, etc. I would love to become a voli but may have to wait a few years...

I think the car is still there but I don't know about the sign. I haven't been to the pines in a couple of years. I have 3 lakes within 10 minutes of the house and it takes about 45 min to an hr for me to get to the pines. The only time I really hear about it is when my brother fishes tournaments there.(and its usually bad because he never does any good) Everyone around here goes to fork if they are looking to really drive some where to fish.

No problem. I've been to Holiday World. Its ok not really my cup of tea. I prefer Kings Island but your kids should enjoy it. Stay Safe.

well right now i work at general atomics on a fire brigade and safety crew. im also working at fairview fire dept as a wildland firefighter. seems like everything im doing is working for me and starting to slowly fall into place

How's it going? Just letting you know lake of the pines is still nice. Everything dried up around here 3 yrs. ago and everyone thought it would take yrs. to get the lakes back. They were down 12-20 ft. But the next yr. it rained and rained and rained some more, now its like nobody even remembers the drought. I stick to Bob Sandlin myself its only 5 miles from the house. Besides that east Texas hasn't changed much. Have a safe week.
