Hi Mark!! The Headquarters of the Amesbury was built in 1927 and was never anything else but a fire station. With the every year growth of the town, plans were made to build a new station that would hold a five to 6 bay station at a new site, but in 2003 the money was not there and the fire department grew to the next building which is now and has been the police department for some time now. The department has 1 ladder, 3 engines, 2 ambulances, Rescue truck, and a forestry which halls the air boat.
If there is anything more you would like to know about Amesbury, or the surrounding community's..... Don't hesitate to ask!!

Your welcome...yeah im a firefighter and nascar fan, but not into the three stooges lol...a matter of face i was in a race car this Monday going 180+ mph around Pocono Raceway...It was awsome!! :) now i want to drive race cars lol :)

Not yet i havent. As soon as im back from Iraq that is one of the places i plan on going. i just learned my way around the Springs. When do you plan on visiting?

SAN ANTONIO IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL CITY. A CULTURE RICH CITY. IT HAS ALOT OF EUROPEN TRAITS TO IT. AT CHRISTMAS IS THE BEST TIME TO GO. THE RIVERWALK IS LIT UP WITH LIGHTS & THERE IS A 50 FT XMAS TREE IN FRONT OF THE ALAMO. WOULDNT RECOMEND SUMMER DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT
