Tornadoes you can have em, we have mini cells up here but it still does alot of damage. It's enough to scatter houses and trees.

You said it chief, its easy to forget that we're here for the public and not the other way around. We have givin' up freedoms that our brothers and sisters in the private sector have no clue about. actually grew up in MO and was a transplant TX due to HPU's great Theology and Psychology Depts. Was very much into the whole Critical Insident Stress when it was new and developed Emergency Services Chaplaincy program curiculum for several departments. Sure do miss TX esp in the wintertime! Got a degree in Theology/Pshychology and now I'm living the dream as a Pastor/Chaplain/Firefighter/EMT and serve in our states disaster response team. I am blessed to be able to help so many people!!! Name almost any major disaster and Ive been there. I can't believe how it is that Christ is using this small town boy and allowing me the honor to serve folks having the worst day of their lives.
Echolink is free and easy to set up on your computer! I highly recommend it for any HAM who is looking to get more rag chew time away from the shack. We have a ham shack in the station...used it just yesterday with all the bad storms coming thru.

You got me on that one there. To be honest, I never liked the decision they made to choose Gillispie. It seems like they saw him win against Louisville in the tournament, then immediately hired him without checking him out.
