  Ya I hear you there we were fortunate our sop's were written so that we would turn to a specific incident channel so that we could directly to the pilot and not go through the atc, that saved a lot of confusion .

  Awesome thank you for the information. I still dont know what direction I end up taking, but all I know is that I am so stoked and proud that I finally made my dream come true!! You know. And I look forward to wherever my career takes me, as long as it dosent take me to where I get fired, hurt, killed, or someother bad or dumb thing that would end or ruin all my hard work!   I was wondering what it takes to get on with the Memphis Fire Department. I know that I just started my first firefighting job and I am still in my rookie year, but I was wondering. I plan on staying here for some time. My girlfriend Sharon just moved out here from Santa Barbara, California, where we both are from, and she is interested in attending Kansas State University to obtain her degree in Keseology ( I cant spell it), and when we get married, and govenrment passes everything to let spouces and dependents recieve members GI Bill, I plan on letting her use my GI Bill to go to school there, so that is about 4 to 6 years of college. But who knows I might end up really likeing it out here and I might stay. But I really want to go back to California, or some place else that sees allot of work, not just fires but everything else. But I was wondering so I can keep my options open and everything. Thanks for you time.
