Certificate in Fire Inspector II
The Fire Inspector II certificate plan is an excellent start on your career path in fire and rescue. It combines fire chemistry classes, fire cause and determination courses, public administration tactics and overall management techniques to prepare the student for a lifelong career in public service. The certificate is designed to cover all of the necessary tools you will need as a Fire Inspector.
Students who complete a Certificate Program in Fire Inspector II will become eligible to take the competency test for Fire Inspector II which is administered by the State Fire Marshal’s Bureau of Fire Standards and Training. Certificates also generally count as credits toward earning an associate’s degree in Fire Science.
