Through training and community education, Virginia fire training academies strive to provides effective hands-on training to fire services candidates in the state. The Virginia Fire Officer Academy is an advocate for leadership of emergency response organizations and provides a an integrated statewide public safety effort to reducing the effects of fire, medical, and environmental emergencies.
