New Mexico Fire Academies

The New Mexico Firefighters Training Academy graduated between 2,500 and 3,000 first responders every year. The academy offers over 80 fire training courses in several fire-rescue specialties. All New Mexico courses are designed to meet standards created by the National Fire Protection Association and assist the local fire departments in complying with mandatory training requirements set by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
