Kansas Fire Academies

The majority of Kansas fire training resources are provided on the local college level through both classroom and hands-on experience. The University of Kansas currently employs a program called The Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute which works off a "Mobile Fire Academy" concept — training anytime, anyplace, or anywhere in Kansas.
